Experience

  • In a fast-paced private equity-owned manufacturing environment, I drive liquidity management, profitability insights, and budgeting through product-level analysis, and cross-functional financial leadership.

    • Improved liquidity visibility and executive decision-making across the organization by managing a multi-million dollar rolling 13-week cash forecast, integrating detailed AR/AP timing and disbursement decisions while supporting reporting needs for executive leadership and private equity.

    • Drove $2M+ in incremental revenue and margin expansion by delivering customer- and formulation-level profitability analyses that enabled price increases across the top customers, representing ~50% of total sales.

    • Generated $300K in high-margin cash proceeds and reduced balance-sheet risk by identifying excess and obsolete inventory, quantifying liquidation opportunities, and coordinating internal and external sales efforts.

    • Increased forecast reliability, financial control, and leadership capacity by leading the 2026 budgeting process at customer- and product-level detail, supporting month- and year-end close across COGS, inventory, and WIP, and managing a direct report.

  • Working in the unit of accounting and reporting, I was responsible for daily account and data reconciliations and the FX P&L as well as reporting to ensure regulatory compliance.

    • Performed monthly close financial reporting, account reconciliations, and ad-hoc financial analysis through cross-functional collaboration supporting internal KPIs and financial forecasting.

    • Reduced reporting time by 50% through pushing for process improvements and strengthening compliance measures through automated data processes.

    • Trained and mentored 6 new interns and trainees, equipping them with skills in data analysis with large data sets, accounting and reporting processes, ensuring a smooth transition.

  • As a consultant of this student organization, I worked in the quality management department, as a treasurer of the organization, and as a consultant on two different projects.

    • Improved the overall satisfaction and efficiency of the organization by conducting internal audits for 5 processes to generate ideas for improvement.

    • Worked as a team member in a team of 5 on an internal project, with the goal to evaluate and streamline the portfolio of consulting services to be more customer-centric for internal and external clients.

    • Restructured the time sheet process from several Excel sheets to one software for all 75 employees in a multi-family office by working as a team member on a research project.

  • During my internship at the VR Bank, I was able to get first insights in advisory services for customers, financial counseling, the credit business and the real estate business.

During my internship at Jungheinrich, I had the opportunity to gain insights in the quality management, logistics and pricing.
